"There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men."
-1 Corinthians 12:4-6
What Is Service?
Service is the use of your unique gifts and talents to further the gospel. For example, if you have a gift for teaching, you could serve as a teacher. Using our skills to further the Kingdom of God is what we are called to do.
Why Should I Serve?
In the New Testament, Jesus Christ washed the feet of His disciples and instructed them to go out and do likewise. Therefore, we must follow the example of Jesus and use our skills to serve the community and bring people to Christ.
How Can I Serve?
You can serve in various capacities both inside the church and outside the church. We encourage you to explore the different ministries where you can make an impact.
