Dan Brown's attack against Christianity is actually an attack against a particular form of Christianity as represented by the Roman Catholic Church.
As evangelical Protestants, we cannot defend Roman Catholicism as an institution that is faithful to the gospel and faithful to the Scriptures (see: Christianity Today Magazine: "The Gospel Of Jesus Christ").
