SITE PASTOR
Jon Storck • 
Jon and his wife, Jen, have been married for 14 years. They have three boys, Bud (10), Walt (8), and West (6). After being on staff as an administrator for 3 years at New Beginnings Community Church, which at the time was an urban church plant in Memphis, TN, the Storck family moved to St. Louis, MO where they attended seminary from 2004-2007.
Following seminary, Jon went on staff with Perimeter Church in Duluth, GA (a suburb of Atlanta), where he served as Assistant Pastor and a Church Planting Resident. During his time at Perimeter, Jon was ordained as a Teaching Elder in the PCA as well as was recommended for church planting by the assessment center of the PCA's local missions' arm -- Mission to North America. Jon has a passion for multi-cultural and multi-economic ministry as well as a sensitivity to mercy and justice issues.
Jon and Jen share a love for a diversity of ethnic cuisine, a hallmark of Sunnyside, and look forward to integrating into the Queens community. Among Jon's interests are playing just about any sport, playing Xbox FIFA Soccer with his boys, traveling with Jen, and reading about colonial history.
ELDER
Kyu Hwang • 
Kyu is married to Cailee, and they have a young son, Grant. He works as a software advisor for Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in midtown, Manhattan.
Although Kyu has lived in various parts of the world including Oslo, Norway, Seoul, Korea, Hong Kong and Karachi, Pakistan, he considers himself a local Queens boy since he’s spent his formative years locally. Kyu attended Forest Hills HS and then went onto University at Buffalo, where he served as a student leader with Campus Crusade for Christ. He's been serving at GFC since graduating from college in 1995.
Kyu enjoys playing sports, boardgames and cards. Kyu also enjoys the outdoors. He was certified as a Life Scout at age 13. As a Boy Scout, he has camped in the deserts of Pakistan and the mountains of Nepal.
ELDER
Daniel Jeon • 
Daniel is an Environmental Engineer. He grew up in South Korea and came to the United States to study in 1999. He moved to New York in 2004 and has been a part of GFC since then. He currently serves as the Welcoming Committee leader and also leads a weekly Bible study small group.
Daniel is married to Hooi, and they have two young sons, David and James. He enjoys all sports, especially baseball and golf. He would like to follow the footsteps of Jesus by serving others and submitting to God throughout his life. His prayer request is that his father and Hooi’s parents and siblings would receive God’s salvation.
ELDER
Richard Park • 
Richard is a practicing emergency medicine physician.
He is married to Nicole, and they have two young sons, Daniel (10) and James (8), with special needs (autism).
